There is a woman in Gaza sitting outside what is left of her tent right now. Her eyes are bruised from weeping, her face still carrying the shock of what she has been through. She buried three of her sons, and there is no one left to walk her through the rubble of what used to be home.
She is far from alone. Across Gaza there are thousands of widows who wake each morning to hungry children pulling at their clothes with nothing to give them.
There is no flour to bake bread, no clean water to drink, no warmth for the cold nights.
In our deen, the woman is honoured beyond what the world has ever truly understood. She is a daughter who carries her father's duas, a wife who is the comfort of her husband, and a mother whose feet hold the path to Jannah. When Islam came, girls were being buried alive in the sand. The Prophet ﷺ lifted them, protected them, and gave them rights no nation before had ever given.
This is why MATW is on the ground in Gaza right now, delivering hot meals, food parcels, water, and emergency aid directly into the hands of widowed mothers and their orphan children. Every donation moves through brothers and sisters walking those camps every single day.
Your support could be the answer to the dua a widow is whispering right now while she holds her hungry child close.
Be the one Allah sends to ease their pain.
